Guest guest
Hello Sara I believe it is 1 to 3 capsules a day and there are no side effects for most although some people have to get used to it. Kichadi is very good for the stomach, it is often the only thing I can eat in the morning without pain. Many recipes on the web. http://curezone.com/forums/m.asp?f=424 & i=233 I didn't care for it at first but now I really like it. lots of variations on the web. Sometimes I add yoghurt and/or coconut milk. Delish. Many people have too little stomach acid instead of too much. Alkali can be even more destructive of the stomach lining. I think to test you take a couple of tsp of lemon juice or vinegar and see if the pain subsides. Same with bicarbnate of soda (baking soda) to see if it is too acid. If you have (or he has) too little stomach acid popular antacids and prescription antacids can make the stomach worse. All spices used in curry are good for healing the stomach lining contrary to popular belief, but I would start out slow. The mind is a funny thing and if you think it is going to hurt probably it will. Digestive enzymes are excellent as well as chewing thouroughly and avoid sugar and black pepper at all costs if possible. Hope this helps Helen
