Does anyone have any advice for releif of this condition??

try starting giving your cat some yogurt with slippery elm in it. Also, get her/him off commercial foods and start feeding raw meat and some veggies, (sprouts, zucchini seem to be favorites with cats) I'd add some digestive enzymes and probiotics also.
