Guest guest
Hi, First of all, congradulations on the pregnancy. I am sorry about Bell's Palsy, but it could be from stress. Pregnancy puts physical stress on your body, even if there is no emotional stress. All of what I would take in this situation can be bought in any health food store. Then once you are familiar with the products, you can research online for better prices because some product are rather expensive. I would make sure to eat at least 7 grams of protein in every meal. And I would eat 5 or 6 times a day to prevent low blood sugar as this is hard and stressful for the body. Sardines are small fishes and have less mercury than tuna, and have a lot of protein. Eggs have a great and easily digestible protein, only organic, because they have a better omega 3 to 6 fatty acid ratio, which means less bad cholestorol. I would not take any protein shakes unless they were soy free and aspartame free. Soy has estrogen, and can affect your hormones, aspartame or aspartic acid, is the main part of nutrasweet, and can be a poison to your nervous system. I would Eat lots of raw nuts like walnuts, they have high protein. Drink at least 8 glasses of good water a day. No sodas!!! No diet anything because sucrose, aspartame, and splenda all have toxins and affect the nervous systems. If you must have sweet, use stevia, an herb or natural raw honey. I would also take fish oil in a capsule. Take the amximum amount. I would take virgin coconut oil. I would also take cod liver oil. All of these have fatty acids which are essential to nerve health. I would get a liquid B vitamin supplement and take it in small doses 4 times a day. B vitamins are water soluble and are safe to take at maximum doses. What your body doesn't use, it will urinate out. Your urine will look lemon yellow, but you are not dehydrated. That is excess vitamin b and it is perfectly normal. I would expect to feel better in about 3 or 4 days, if not, I wwould try it for at least a month. If I didn't see a good result within a month, I would probably try more research , but I would definitely try it for 1 month. I am right now taking this same nutritional regime to treat my multiple sclerosis. That is also a nerve problem. It is helpful for everything, but the nerve pain. I am still researching for more, but this has helped me so far. I hope you have a truly wonderful baby and the rest of this pregnancy gets better. ===== Love and Laughter, Theresa M. Guest guest
Dear Theresa, That was a good reply. I am going to copy it for my grown children and husband. I also wanted you to know that not all vitamins go through your system (into yellow urine) right away. The Japanese have invented a patented Trans-Delivery System that makes thier nutritional supplements behave like food. The vitamins disperse in the system just as food does (making it very comfortable for pregnant women) and stays there longer until you need it...making thier vitamins 30% more effective. If you need more information just email me. Thanks again for that lengthy reply to our board friend in need. Kathy
