Hi,

I'm currently on Xalatan because my eye pressure is too high.

My doc thinks I might get glaucoma.

I'd like to try the Eyebright formula. My doc thinks I should keep

using the Xalatan though.

Is it a good idea to try the following therapy for a couple of

months and then check the eye pressure again?

09:00: Eyebright formula

13:00: Eyebright formula

17:00: Eyebright formula

21:00: Xalatan

Has anybody tried that?

Can the products interact with each other?

Thanks and best regards,

Mario

My sons have Glaucoma and take Xalatan (DH is NOT open to using Naturopathy on the kids, even though he's amazed that I am in better health than I was two years ago because of Naturopathy. He's fine with me doing it for myself though. Makes for some interesting and very heated debates!). If I am correct - it is my understanding that if your pressure is high then you probably already have glaucoma. I think I'd have to give Doc a call for this one, though.

Re: Glaucoma and Eye Bright

I started treating glaucoma in my eyes in 1962. I carefully follow the

recommended care of the ophthamologist. At present I use Xalatan at bedtime.

Over

the years the treatment has varied. I have had seven eye surgeries. My left

eye is

badly damaged and sees very little. The right eye has 20/20 vision in it.

I had one doc who suggested I use some suppliments such as eye bright which I

did

for a while. But these made no improvement in the visual accuity so after three

months I stopped using them.

Our eyes are very precious and important for us. If your sons' eye doc is

saying,

use Xalatan, then follow his advice. Loss of vision is loss of life. Do not

risk your

sons' vision!!!!

I wasn't. I know how serious Glaucoma is. They were born with it - they have Micropthalmia as well.
