Guest guest
Ever since my son, now 2.5 was about 6mo old I have had chroniclly chapped finger tips. For a while homeopathic sulfur and herbal ginko helped, for a while EFA supplements helped, eliminating sugar and flour, dairy, meat, uping water intake etc helped. Each one works for a while and then it comes back and that doesn't work anymore. I have used the Dr. Christopher's complete tissue formula (bandaids each night with ointment smeared all over fingers) rash formula, calendula lotion, eliminated all SLS in things that touch my skin, use natural cleaners for the house (vinegar and baking soda), I have used the rash formula too. Nothing really works. I have even tried diaper rash ointment! I don't eat sugar, dairy, refined foods, or meat- and before if I ate meat it was clean organic or at least no antibiotics and hormones. I eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Marisa
Guest guest
I heard somewhere that dry skin is a sign of liver problems. That's the only thing I can think of. Then again, I'm due today (for baby, not a kick in the teeth or anything like that) so this is the preggo head talking. bradyasmin [corless] Thursday, September 23, 2004 8:43 PMherbal remedies Subject: Herbal Remedies - chronically chapped finger tips?Ever since my son, now 2.5 was about 6mo old I have had chroniclly chapped finger tips. Guest guest
Thank you. The tooth that has been bothering me is the same one that corresponds with the liver in this chart http://www.eatonessentials.com/teeth/toothreflex.htm (this chart isn't selling anything but I think other places on the site might because I know the guy runs a wellness business so please don't toast me for the site. I have seen the chart in several places) I have been feeling the need to do a cleanse but when pregnant and/or nursing for a little over 3yrs straight I have been a bit concerned to do that. Guest guest
Hi Marisa, You said that you use Essential Fatty Acid supplements. What kind? When I first met my husband, who is a contractor, he had VERY dry, rough hands. I was afraid he was going to sand my skin off my body when he first touched me. Since doing the cleanse and taking Total Nutrition every day with Udo's Oil in it, his hands are VERY soft and wonderful now! It is truly a miraculous change. I didn't think there was anything that could make his hands soft again. When he skimps on the oil, or doesn't have his TN for a day or two, his hands get scratchy right away. Those are just some thoughts on what worked for my husband. Have you done a cleanse before? Guest guest
I have not done a cleanse as I started my natural path when I got pregnant with my son and have been either pregnant or nursing ever since. I used a couple different EFA supplements in capsule form. One of them was reccomended by a Dr, that my sister was seeing for intense back pain. I think it was Sears.
