Question about Deep Tissue Repair Oil and menthol crystals

I am getting set to make some deep tissue repair oil and I

don't know what menthol crystals are or where to find them. Is that

something I can process myself out of peppermint (I've got lots of

that growing). Would essential oil of peppermint be a good

substitute? What is the stuff? Is it orderable at health food

stores? Thank you.
