Mary O Really? I didn't know about that. Maybe they aren't required here in PA because my chiro never mentioned needing to take any and I know other people who go to him and he's never taken x-rays of them either. Maybe if something is actually fractured or broken he would have to get x-rays before he treats them. I don't know. I think I'll ask him the next time I go. In my experience, a chiro that wants a series of xrays asstandard procedure before they will talk to you doens't know what they aredoing- I just started going to a pretty amazing chiro. He takes no x-rays, claiming they are unsafe and he doesn't need them.
