Guest guest
It's been about two years ago since I researched on this topic but if memory serves me correctly. There have been only two cases of tetanus reported in the last decade both female and one or both were immunized and still contracted it from small cuts gardening. I've refused it three times once when my youngest got the tip of her finger cut off, once for a stick to the eye, and once for a rusty metal part to the eye. I've got a danger prone bunch! They are all healthy/happy and never contracted it and the last two have had no shots. They doctors/nurses will argue with you or try to, just tell them to give you the waiver form to sign. If I had the choice again I would definitely refuse, I had more than my share of them growing up. Just my two cents worth from experience. Best R's, O.
