Guest guest
My fiance has a form of epilepsy in which she has petit mal siezures, and we both believe in taking a natural approach to help cure her and I was wondering if anyone knew of any herbs or combination of herbs that may help stop her from having the seizures. Her epilepsy is a result of her aunt striking her on the head when she was a little girl. She's from Africa and I love her so much and she was getting better and then she was an a car accident and now the siezures are occuring more frequently so can someone please help me. Guest guest
Hello, I only would like to give a hint. You said that the first siezures were from experiences in the childhood and now after the accident. She reacted in childhood with siezures after she was hit. Now she reacts so after the car accident. Talking to her about the car accident and helping her to get over it may help after some time if you know how to get over such things. Guest guest
The same could be said about the Bible " itself " , the Bhagavad-gita " as a book " , or a thousand others, including books I would have liked to recommend to people...But I didn't on-list, because I understood that the promotion of, or even discussion of, specific religious ideas was off-topic and against list policy. I'm sorry, can Doc or someone clear this up? I thought the list was for promoting and discussing natural healing methods only, not schools of spiritual thought. -ST Lisa de Haas wrote: > > Hi Sara, > > The Dianetics book itself has nothing to do with religion; it's a > self-help book that can handle traumas in a person's life. > > love > Lisa > > herbal remedies , Sara Thustra > <sara.thustra@e...> wrote: > >>Ew...I thought we didn't offer religious remedies here?? >> >>Lisa de Haas wrote: >> >>>Yesher, you and your fiancé need to read the book Dianetics, and > > then > >>>use the data in the book to handle her problem. >>> >>>love >>>Lisa >>> >>> - >>> ** randolf_everywhere <Ihavean@a...> >>> *To:* herbal remedies >>> <herbal remedies > >>> *Sent:* Thursday, October 21, 2004 12:00 AM >>> *Subject:* Re: Herbal Remedies - Can anyone help me >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> Hello, >>> >>> I only would like to give a hint. Guest guest
Hi Sara, I can tell you've not even looked at the book, otherwise you'd know that there is absolutely NO reference to anything religious, spiritual or otherwise. Dianetics is purely a self-help book to relieve yourself (and others) of physical traumas and mental traumas caused by physical happenings, such as psychosomatic illnesses. Well, it might improve you spiritually also, but so can taking herbs LOL. That does not make it a religious book. As such, it definitely falls under the heading of a *natural healing method*. regards Lisa de Haas Senior Moderator - Sara Thustra herbal remedies Thursday, October 21, 2004 3:04 PM Re: Herbal Remedies - Can anyone help me The same could be said about the Bible "itself", the Bhagavad-gita "as a book", or a thousand others, including books I would have liked to recommend to people...But I didn't on-list, because I understood that the promotion of, or even discussion of, specific religious ideas was off-topic and against list policy.I'm sorry, can Doc or someone clear this up?
