Guest guest Posted May 9, 2007 Report Share Posted May 9, 2007 Trim your yard so that there are no branches (large or small) that will ever brush against you, as you walk through yard. If any shrub has an outstretched branch, cut it off, it has ticks on it. Always expect ticks (and chiggers) to avoid the Sun's direct rays, they will be in the shade more often than the sunny parts of yard. If you have to walk through high grass, pick a path that keeps you in the SUN. Because over there in the shade is where the grass is thicker with ticks and chiggers. Common sense is your guide. ..
