Guest guest
Many tests and studies have been done and high levels of methyl mercury have been found in the liver and fat of sea animals. Industry has dumped mercury into the air, streams, rivers, and oceans for hundreds of years. It gets into the plant life and plankton that larger animals feed on. The worst fish are bottom feeders. The fish and game and EPA have put out warnings for years on how much ocean fish to consume. Tuna and salmon are high in methyl mercury. The liver is a cleansing and fat manufacturing organ with are the two main reasons why mercury accumulates there. There are much better ways to get fatty acids into your diet without polluting your body.Jerry AndersonKathy <vanokat wrote: What there is mercury in CLO? - Wayne Anderson Tuesday, September 25, 2007 9:55 AM Re: Cod Liver Oil: The Number One Superfood What about the methyl mercury; is it a super nutrient?Jerry Andersonpsych doc <psych_58 > wrote: Add to this that cod liver oil--the omega3--switchesoff the expression of genes responsible for certainmental illnesses.Ratan.--- kenn johnsen <kennj (AT) webspeed (DOT) dk> wrote:> Number one in cooking oil, is coconut oil or butter.> Stay away from any > other oil for cooking.
