Guest guest
To much of the cabbage family made me hypOthyroid. I never took meds, rather avoided cabbage and tested again in a month or 2 and was fine. Do a google search for 'cabbage & thyroid" BonnieB Thyroid question Posted by: "annielovinglife" smartlivingsense annielovinglife Wed Oct 24, 2007 4:20 pm (PST) Does anyone have natural remedies for thyroid disease? I have low thyroid, and have been on medication for it for years. My mother also had low thyroid, so I suppose this could be some what hereditary. I have been looking for ways to get off this script, and have not come up with anything. Thanks, Annie ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
I think John Johnson's protocol looks great. He made the site for hyperthyroidism but addresses both. I am currently using his protocol, and would love someone to share experiences with! www.ithyroid.com -Olif
Guest guest
Avoid raw broccoli - its bad for the thyroid, but not if its cooked. You may want to look into replacement of iodine - this helps as well. Putting your body up against a wall with your feet above your heart level in the mornings for 20 mins will help, basically getting more blood flow to the thyroid is what this does.
