How long is CS good for once it's made?

I just read a little blurb on CS and the person writing said they throw

out the CS they make with their own generator after about a month and

make more. Is this really necessary? I don't make my own and it seems

expensive to throw it out...

No, it is not necessary to throw it out after a month. Many who make their own have stored the CS for years without degradation. You do need to use a suitable storage container.
