Guest guest
I can't access our files at all. I changed my ID, when said my old one no longer existed, but still can;t access our files. Tony has posted twice that there are additions to the files, and I would like to read them. I really don't want to change my email address completely in order to read the files. I've been hours at it for a couple of evenings. I give up! More important, I'm depressed. Isn't it this group that had a discussion a month or two ago about new findings about an herb that is very effective for depression? My memory is lapsing, I;m depressed. Phooey! Guest guest
Oh dear Rhoda, I am so sorry to hear you are depressed. I know of a herbalist that can make tinctures for you if you are interested. She is wonderful, hands on, and will talk to you and will be there for you individually. Let me know. Another alternative is to go to http://www.nativeremedies.com and they have a product called Mind Soothe with a blend of herbs which include St. John's Wort that ease depression. As for not being able to access files, do you have "Word" installed on your computer? This may be the problem. What you may want to do is install the Word Viewer. Here is the link should that be the problem. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=95E24C87-8732-48D5-8689-AB826E7B8FDF & displaylang=en Otherwise, let me know and I will see what I can do so you can read those documents. I am "functional" until we leave anyway, as I am using one of the Utopia Silver computers. But guess what happened yesterday? I was busily working along and the computer I was using crashed. LOL! Is it me? Sort of a Midas Touch gone wrong? Well, it took all day for Ben to get it up so hopefully, it will last until we go back home. Lastly, Rhoda, I know all about depression and how hard it can be to control at times, as there are many reasons contributing to it. But you are too special of a lady and too dear to go through this. I wish I could make it all better. Truly. Try to focus on the "wins" and you are starting to see those "wins." You are on the road to healing. One more thing........ Tony suggests that you read "The Greatest Miracle in the World" by Og Mandino. Lots of Love,
Guest guest
Rhoda, Seroxat seems good but you need to get a prescription for that but many will say not to but it depends how bad the depression is. St. Johns wort may work on small depression but not on serious depression, kava kava is said to work on anxiety and cacao nibs are said to give one a good feeling. Apart from that thinking positively about anything that you see, feel, etc although that may be tough there is no other choice apart from feelings of negativity to engulf us, maybe watching some old laurel and hardy movies as I do everyday almost or something that makes you laugh or even putting on a false smile for 5 minutes for a few ties during the day, it all adds up to being crazy and more happier. Gerald ps walking, swimming are good or doing something fun like badminton - playing with the dog, (exercise and fun I mean) think of the things you really loved to do in the past and may try doing them again, maybe going to the movies or taking out an old book and reading, dancing, singing, basically chnge to positive even in the face of adversity, wel at least we can try little by little, day by day.
