Guest guest
Hi Lisa,I, too, had a Liposarcoma removed last year in September. Mine was in the Retroperitoneum and was 26x16x11cm. Mine was not invasive, however, my surgeon elected not to remove the "margin" because in doing so, he would have had to remove my left kidney, spleen, part of my colon and part of my pancreas. I am very thankful that he had the wisdom to not remove my vital organs, as recovery would have been very challenging. I have had one clear CT scan so far and in a few weeks I go for my 6 month follow-up scan.I would be very interested in hearing some follow-up from you. I am here in Australia and because we only have 20 Million people, there is not much info available to my doctors. At present I educate others, but I try not to read too much, as the doom and gloom statistics are not what I need to hear. Nor will they be applicable to me! I do follow Tony's protocol and am just about to order some Laertril. I also do the Cesium Chloride Protocol from Essense of Life, however with the ever decreasing Aussie Dollar, this is becoming cost prohibitive. I do notice that the rogue cancer cells that are obviously not detectable by the CT scan are beginning to swell and burst, as I have discomfort in the area where my Liposarcoma used to be. I have to say, I do for the most part feel great and I have done 2 Liver and Gallbladder flushes so far and that has made a huge difference in my complexion, my fuzzy brain and general energy and mood level. I am also going to get Metabolic Typing done this week as I understand some of the supplements vary depending on whether the tumor is a soft or hard mass tumor.I would be interested in seeing the breakdown of supplements recommended to you. I understand that my needs will be different. However it is very rare to "meet" another person who similarly to me had a Liposarcoma.Yes, this is an excellent forum and I have learnt so much. I am constantly awed by the amount of support I receive just by reading the posts. Often I don't need to post a question, because others in this forum beat me to it and the answers magically appear.Thank-you for sharing. the links are very fascinating, especially because I am aware that my tumor was primarily emotional in origin, and then fuelled by an inadequately nutritional lifestyle.Blessings, Eva.--- On Sat, 2/14/09, ohlisa1 <lmcdewey wrote:ohlisa1 <lmcdewey Re: CANCER and Dr. Kellyoleander soup Date: Saturday, February 14, 2009, 4:06 PM Hi Jack and All, This is my first post on this group so let me start by telling you my cancer story. I had surgery to remove a large liposarcoma (soft tissue sarcoma, rare so little research is done) from my abdominal cavity in August 2008. Due to the skill of my surgeon and that the tumor wasn't invasive, the surgery was a success and the mass was completely removed. I've had 2 'clear' CT scans since then, so my energy has turned toward reading and researching alternative healing methods. It has seemed logical to me to try to fix or heal my body chemistry to prevent "round 2", and only non mainstream medicine can do that. To that end I've started seeing a chiropractor who does Total Body Modification -here are some links FYI, neither happen to be my dr http://www.tbmsemin ars.com/pagemenu .asp?id=20 & tblname=059_ aboutus http://www.susanbre nnan.com/ techniques. php http://www.thewayto optimalhealth. com/TBM.htm The supplements my body told us it needed were all in support of the gastrointestinal tract. (if you want the exact breakdown I can post or send it to you.) I have felt better after just 1 visit than I have in months, plus I feel relieved and confident that I have found a path toward fixing my body and my health. I have my second visit this week, and would be glad to post a follow-up if anyone is interested. Thank you to Melly for posting the lecture, and to Tony for moderating this thread, and to everyone else for sharing your stories and information. Guest guest
Hi Eva, Amazingly, my tumor was actually bigger than yours : )! 37x29x13 cms.(that's about the size of an American football,) well-differentiated, pT2b was the stage given. I lost my left kidney w/ the mass, but nothing else. For the size of the mass, the cancer hadn't grown into any of the other organs- it was just pushing on everything. My oncologist has ordered no follow-up chemo or radiation; there isn't anything to radiate and there hasn't been any effective protocols discovered - not enough $$ in it, I suppose. (not that either are effective long-term anyway) I'm really just getting started in figuring out how to beat cancer long-term. If you don't mind, I'll email you off-thread w/ some links that I have found helpful. I'd also like to know a little more about your protocols. I think we're in this one together : ) I'll post what I've started doing over on the Cancer/Dr. Kelly thread. Just what simple changes I could make slowly... thanks for responding. Reading over my pathology report has got me a little scared again, but I'm glad to hear that you are doing well. That, and other's stories give me faith that I'm on the correct path now. Guest guest
Eva, You seem to be doing alot of good things for yourself, just make sure that your diet contains clean water and organic foods (as much as possible), and that you limit animal food intake (or eliminate it completely), flour products, sugar (and artificial sweeteners) and dairy foods. Good luck and do let the board know how you are progressing. Guest guest
Thanks Bob,I do most of that rather religiously. Sugar, sweeteners, flour, processed food etc. I do however have my bit of goats fetta and raw goats milk. I also take Herb Robert mixed in with organic raw egg. The latter operates under the principle much like the Cottage cheese flaxseed oil - the egg acts as a medium to allow Herb Robert (which I grow myself) to be transported into the cell. Interestingly enough I have always been keen on water and I actually run a water filter website. Although it has taken a backseat to my anti-cancer protocol. I have been filtering my drinking and shower water for years now. Actually, ever since I lived in Atlanta for 5 years. I even filter the infamous fluoride out of it. Water here in Australia tastes just as bad as the US water, believe me!Thanks for your concern and I will surely post my updates.Blessings, Eva.--- On Mon, 2/16/09, Bob Banever <bbanever wrote:Bob Banever <bbaneverRe: Liposarcomaoleander soup Date: Monday, February 16, 2009, 3:53 AM Eva, You seem to be doing alot of good things for yourself, just make sure that your diet contains clean water and organic foods (as much as possible), and that you limit animal food intake (or eliminate it completely), flour products, sugar (and artificial sweeteners) and dairy foods. Guest guest
Hi Lisa,Thanks for replying. I don't have much time to reply now, however please feel free to contact me offline and I will do the same. I was so overjoyed to "meet" someone else with a Liposarcoma, not that I would wish this on anyone!!!! Ever! My goodness, that was huge! And people look at you strangely and ask: didn't you realize it was growing? Didn't you look pregnant? Well, the body is amazing and the retroperitoneum can really hide a lot as I found out.I would love to have some of the links. I also did TBM for about 2 years in 2003-2004 when I was living in Atlanta. At the time I didn't know I might have a tumor growing and in reality if it was there, this therapy probably kept it at bay.Gotta run, and yes, I think we most definitely are in this together :-)Eva.--- On Mon, 2/16/09, ohlisa1 <lmcdewey wrote:ohlisa1 <lmcdewey Re: Liposarcomaoleander soup Date: Monday, February 16, 2009, 3:10 AM Hi Eva, Amazingly, my tumor was actually bigger than yours : )! 37x29x13 cms.(that's about the size of an American football,) well-differentiated , pT2b was the stage given.
