I took astaxanthin for a while but all these supps cost ! and it was one that had to go...but the buckthorn oil sounds good. Also I must make up another skin potion of oleander and body cream because the first one that I made up got rid of lots of skin thingys.I had to experiment with creams to add it to coz the first one was too thick and all my underwear went yellow/green.not a good look ! when i got the right consistancy of cream it dissapeared into the skin and there was no residue to stain..........Pam

PS: The younger redheads in the family are using astaxanthin as a preventive. Dh uses astaxanthin and enzymes - 2 undiagnosed black growths have vanished and a third is on its way out. Previously had melanoma removed but nothing else to "get the bits the surgeon missed", yeah right!? Won't ever return for excisions !By their ages, the men of my generation had keratosis on their ears and the backs of their hands. My sons have none but have spent long hours outside in the sun. We don't use sunscreens as one son is allergic - just a beautiful natural product that had carrot oil in it, from a lady in Whangarei. Her daughter now has a similar product. To help my eczema I take astxanthin too and coconut oil. I smother it on my skin and sit in the sun at noon. Never burnt. In winter, not much sun, so i take D3. Seems to be helping. Also sea buckthorn oil appears to be removing the keratosis (?) from my hands - I believe the oil contains astaxanthin too.

Hello Pam, An aunt used to treat solar keratoses with 1:1:1 of water, glycerine and acetic acid. Just the chemist varieties for the latter 2 ingredients. Her bil had them all over his back, so his wife duly made up the potion. However instead of treating them individually she wiped it all over his back. He said it really hurt his good skin but got rid of them! I use it on the backs of my hands too, but have noticed a few on my arms and even an inner thigh, which has never seen the sun! It doesn't seem to hurt the good skin, so he's either a sook, or I'm an insensitive clod! Mine appeared as I came off steroids for eczema last July. The buckthorn oil stains too, but even what I smear on my face, has pretty much gone by morning - I cover my pillow with a towel and wear cotton pyjamas. When I was living in the pj's stained bright orange, a smart alec friend asked if I still had marital relations (due to the glamour of course!) Haven't been able to buy it in NZ, so I got it from http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/oils/herbal.htmlIt lasts for ages, but when it needs replenishing, I'll do a search to see if anyone is importing. In fact, I'll ask Healthpost if they would consider it.I believe you can eat the buckthorn oil. Haven't tried it as I struggle to take oils from a spoon. Also Healthpost in Collingwood have astaxanthin on special. 90 caps for $55.00 rather than $80 @ the health store. It's been on special for a while. I stocked up, as there are 4 of us taking it. It's

still on special 3 bottles later! They only charge $3 P & H no matter the weight. I usually buy ascorbic acid by the kg, so when I bought one for DS & DDIL I doubled the postage. They put $3 in the box as not necessary! Very fast delivery too. I get stuff from them quicker than stuff from across Auckland. They allow direct credit, which I like. I have no financial interest - I just hope they can continue to do business now that medsafe is doing its worst - trawling the www for ads that make "claims" for food supplements, then sending threatening letters!. Hah! Safe???? Yeah, right!Love, Mara--- On Wed, 4/8/09, Pam Griffin <pgriff wrote:Pam Griffin <pgriffRe: Re: Plantar warts...need helpoleander soup Date:

Hello, another update, I am rubbing banana peel on my plantar warts and then

taping a new piece...for overnight, well, the plantar warts are still getting

white, I don't feel anything (no sensations), they are pretty stubborn... I

didn't expect anything as I said...I tried too many things, including oleander,

but I don't know know if oleander is any effective on plantar warts (hpv), if

any other ideas please let me know!

This is like one of these things that are benign...but as resistant as a

tumor.... :(

Sometime I think the only thing to do is take knife and cut it off lol...

It may help to scrape the dead white stuff off so that the banana peel can do its job on the deeper now exposed tissue. You are going great - warts can take months to go so don't give up. You are only weeks into it! Months aren't much out of a lifetime, so it's truly worth doing. There is a lot of potassium in banana skins. Also warts are a symptom of potassium deficiency, so you might like to consider supplementation or eating potassium rich foods. Here is a good list - you will notice that fast food, white flour and white sugar aren't listed :I would not eat listed pork though if you are healing from cancer. Hawthorn tea looks like a good option and is great for the heart. The figures following some items are the mgs per 100gms. All the very best,MaraBee Pollen

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I have been out of town. To be honest, I do not remember how long, I just did it until the wart was gone. Seems to me it was a couple weeks. I applied it with a q tip, and it does sting likeheck. Sent from my iPhoneOn Apr 5, 2009, at 20:28, overloaded wrote:
