and Tony,

Dad told me he doesn't have as much energy when he takes his daily walk. He

also told me he lost his appetite again. He thinks it's the supplements.

Yesterday, he even felt a little nauseated. I also think it must be the effect

of the supplements but I just don't know which one. Now we traded the diarrhea

for this new problem. I am lost again. If it doesn't improve, we have to start

all over again.

Here is what he has been taking:

5/1/09 3 S/OPC and 3 curcumin a day and grape OPC

5/3/09 Added 2 droppers of blood support 3 times a day (only 1/2 of recommeded

dose)

5/4/09 Added 3 teaspoons blackseed oil a day

5/7/09 Added 1 serve of Cellect

5/8/09 Added 2 serves of cellect, S/opc increase to 4 a day

5/9/09 Added 3 serves of cellect,

So he is on S/OPC, curcumin, grape OPC, Blood Support, Blackseed oil, and 3

serves of Cellect a day.

He started to feel less energy and losing appetite around 5/6. I wonder whether

it's the side effect of the S/OPC, or the detox effect of the Blood Support, or

the blackseed oil, or the Cellect. But May 7 was the first day he started

Cellect. Am I giving him too much anti-cancer supplements that his body is

overwhelmed?

Please tell me what to do. Maybe I would drop S/OPC back to 3 a day? Or drop

some of the supplements. But which one?

I am so worried I feel sick. Dad didn't want to disappoint me, so he is

continuing taking all these. I don't want to make him take all these things to

make him suffer though.

Hi Julie,

If your dad isn't experiencing side effects of OPC such as diarrhea, don't reduce the dosage. His lack of energy could possibly be due to detoxing, although the loss of appetite could have many causes. I would consult his doctor with regard to this. I am not sure if he is experiencing what is known as a Herxheimer Reaction, which are symptoms of detoxing. Let me give you the following article, "The Herxheimer Reaction" and see if this sheds any light as to how your dad is feeling and, hopefully, it will help you.

Hang in there Julie. I know this is scary for you. You are doing a wonderful job.

Hugs,
