Guest guest
A couple of days ago a member had mentioned that his partner was constipated and unable to keep any fluids down orally. It got me thinking, and I would really like some feedback. Tony? Will Oleander soup that is given as a retained enema provide similar results as oral administrations; or, does the biologically active constituents of S-OPC have to first be digested (i.e., broken down) by the digestive and bile juices of the stomach and upper gastrointestinal track? Does anyone know of any contraindications of an oleander enema? My first thought is that it may cause the heart to race - but this is pure speculation. I simply don't know. I have never tried it as a retained enema. Also, in doing a search of the message boards, I can't find anyone else who has suggested this. There is plenty of information on coffee enemas, but this product may be different. I DO NOT recommend this to anyone at his time. This topic is pure speculation. It is better to err on the side of caution. Nor do I want to try it myself until I feel it is safe to do. (I do not have cancer, but my ex-wife died of cancer 4 years ago. If I had know about S-OPC earlier I'm sure it would have helped her. Towards the end, enemas were the best way to administer some meds and nutrients, etc.) If someone has tried it or knows of someones' experience, then I would like to know your thoughts. Thanks Michael L. P.S. -just before posting this I went to the message boards. Thanks Unyquity for your thoughts and comments. Others?.....
