electric blankets (alternatives)

Hi ZY and Malinda,

 

Thanks for the great tips. I did not realize I've been doing some

of those things already. I actually have a blanket Dh had in the

military between the top sheet and comforter. I use jersey or

flannel sheets. I also have an extra fluffly mattress pad

underneath. Socks are 24/7 (except in the shower. lol).

 

I will use the hat or head covering now too. I like the sleeping

bag idea too. I think I will do that in the car for the drives in

the winter time. The floor heaters never keep me warm enough.

Sleeping bags make really warm comforters for the bed and can be

used for camping as well ;-)
