Guest guest
I would like more input on treating a person who is developing gallstones with acupuncture. My acupuncturist said to me that the reason you develop stones is the liver produces thick bile. Thick bile doesn't move and sits and creates stones. Treating with acupuncture and balancing the liver will get the liver to produce the right balance of bile. I have never heard of this and wanted to know if this is so with any of your readings or studies? Western medicine and biology doesn't go in this direction. And I would like to know if this will work or if I might be waiting my time by perusing it. I also did some reading that made me a bit concerned about having a gallbladder that produced stones that are being passed daily. It is harmful for your body's bile/liver ducts. My interesting experience was being told by my chiropractor to do a mini gallbladder flush. It wasn't strong to pass large stones at all but was to be done to see if symptoms were triggered. I passed what felt like tiny pieces of glass. I felt rather ok but the next days felt this stuff still in my abdomen. I feel that daily anyway. Never knew what it was, now I know. I had tests too and it never showed up. The danger of what I read is that passing these sharp stones can cut the inside of your ducts while it is passing. Resulting in scarring and the scaring can become a blocked passage. You then wind up with a liver that can't eliminate it stuff. I noticed a stool color change that was on the reddish side and now I am concerned. I certainly can't wait out a long time for this to be fixed by acupuncture if it takes a long time. And does it work? And how well? I found a deceased family member that died of long term liver disease. Well, I wonder if this was their problem? Don't know but I would like to prevent a bad outcome. What do you all know about this? Liz D. rabbitbrain
