Hi Julie,

Thank you for the link to Dr. Chi's formulas at herbal healer.

You didn't write your age ... are you perimenopausal?

Is your naturpath practising Ayurveda? If you are unhappy with Ayurvedic

treatments, I'd suggest you find a Traditional /Acupuncture

Clinic near you and spend an hour or two discussing your problems with a

TCM/Acupuncture professional.

Diagnosing and treating your own symptoms with herbal formulas may be dangerous.

Initially,

I went to a TCM/Acupuncture clinic in NYC (Pacific College of Oriental Medicine)

for treatment and was given Xaio Yao Wan and Gui Pi Wan ... and after that

round of treatment I went to the Swedish Institute of Massage and Acupuncture

for a set of acupuncture and Swedish Massage/Shiatsu/Tui Na treatments which

helped enormously to " balance " my system.

Recently, I've been using Dr. Shen's " Two Immortals " formula at:

http://www.drshen.com/products.html

An interesting article on the formula and how it got its name:

Another article on the Chinese Herbal Treatment of Menopausal Syndrome:

http://www.acupuncture.com/Herbology/menopause-ysa.htm

I also use " Jade Shield " and my daughter uses " Women's Precious Pills "

I hope these articles will be halpful to you.

best,

patt

Re: Digest Number 1326

Hi, I am new here!

I am Julie or sometimes I go by Jelina. I live in Texas. I go to a natural

holistic doctor. I guess he knows some Chinese healing things--but he is more

into his own system of healing based on mudras and supplements. He is familiar

with Chinese acupuncture points--in fact he also uses this on me. But, he's

doesn't really have a lot of Chinese supplements. I also shop online at

www.herbalhealer.com and use the Dr. Chi's formula--Asparagus teas. I haven't

tried much of anything else from Dr. Chi (except Debile--which kind of made me

sick--so I stopped that!)

Is anyone else familiar with DR. Chi formulas? I am thinking about trying to

find something to help balance female hormones. I need a good balancing formula.

Any suggestions are helpful. (I am 34 years old and still have cycles--need

something to help with cramps sometimes get them and sometimes don't!) I also

have thyroid problem--hyper--overactive (which a lot of people don't get--most

are low thyroid).

Thanks!
