Not all medicines are going to taste yummy. <snip> > I don't know which combinations would be > appropriate for what I have, but at least I > resolved that these substances are combinable > in the realm of TCM. Yes, and even a professional practicioner of TCM would consult another practicioner of TCM for an accessment (diagnosis) of her/himself. Its hard to interpret when its yourself. If you see a TCM practitioner you can write down their accessment of you state of health and, if you wish, come back to this list and ask further explainations to the terminology and therapy. The big question with herbs is, what are you asking them to do for you. As you must realize by now, TCM doesn't directly value herbs by their chemical constituents using Western Scientific standards. No, not directly. Listing herbs and asking what they're good for is the long way to find what you need for youself and in the end you'll still need to consult for a personal assessment. Herbs might not even be called for in you currently needed therapy. First find out where you stand and what you might need to be assisted in adjusting to health. If you're going to use TCM as a part of your therapy you need a TCM assessment. Penel
