[Chinese Traditional Medicine] RE Fallen arches

Hi I just read your post this evening. My daughter has the same the

problem. She's been told to roll the bottom of her feet on a golf

ball every day for a couple of minutes as well as she needs to start

wearing shoe arch inserts.Kids just love those darn flip flop sandals

but they basically ruin their feet. The golf ball info isn't from a TCM

perspective just a little info from one mom to another, lol.Hope it

helps.

Marlene:

I didn't see anything in the literature, but

acupuncture may possibly help.

My acupuncture teacher said it is possible to help

kids with Cerebral Palsy, as my niece has lost the use

of her right side and we discussed the possibility of

treating her.

You would have to find a good acupuncturist to go this

route, and the younger the child the better chances of

success.

Personally, I suffered from slight spinal curvature

since childhood. A few months of weekly acupuncture

helped to straighten out my spine somewhat, and I'm

middle-aged, having misspent my youth on the jogging

trails.

So maybe this is possible with your daughter.

Kind regards, Jack
