Guest guest
Do any of you know of any sites that let you put your symptoms down and then give a diagnosis? I know that webmd has something like, but I am more into a natural approach. I did have a mini phone consultation with the herb company I got some herbs from. He said that it sounds like my qi is not moving. So I got two bottles of their stuff, but it is not changing anything. I made intentions to change certain lifestyle habits as of the new year, but my willpower is very weak and I slip back into the same old thing. The one pill is called willpower and it contains: polygala, dragon bone, eluthero, ophiopogon, asparagus, schizandra, spirit poria, astragalus, codonopsis, white peony, licorice and aged citrus peel. The other is called 10 complete supertonic, it contains: codonopsis root, astragalus root, bai-zhu atractylodes rhizome, poria sclerotium, dong quai root, prepared rehmannia root, chinese white peony root, cinnamon bark, red jujube fruit and chinese licorice root. I am supposed to take the one 3 caps 2x a day and the other 2 caps 3x aday. I also take fish oil, bee pollen and multi vitamin/mineral. These are all supposed to be good quality and I am not noticing a change for the better, in fact, I am feeling worse.I don't always take them every day and when I take them, I only take two of each of the herbs. Partly because I don't like taking so many pills and to make them last. I am wondering if I am even absorbing the nutrients from these supplements and the food I eat. After I take the fish oil, I burp it up right away. Someone on another list said that it is either bad or I am not absorbing it. My sypmtoms are lack of energy/motivation, tiredness, premature gray hair, low libido, thick, rough, cracked dry heels, feet are often cold. Ido have some stress because of these symptoms and my kids are always fighting. I am also nursing, and wake up a few times a night to feed. Sometimes I wake up myself though and feel like I'm starving. I am addicted to carbs/sugars. Also, my teeth have recently began to decay and it came on very quickly. That is why I get the feeling of some type of mineral deficiency. There aren't any practioners near me, and if there were, I doubt my insurance would cover them. So I kind of have to handle this myself, but it is hard. Any suggestions? Thanks. Melanie
