Guest guest
Group, I'd like to share this good information with you. Rich Dear Subscribers, Sometimes I get tired of reading the 30 odd copies of the same posts by Rima Laibow and her General, not to mention the Health Ranger. To bring a little balance to picture, I was speaking earlier today with a highly knowledgeable herbalist whose family (in Canada) all contracted the swine flu. This included children in school who tested positive so the school was closed. There were also elderly persons who were affected and they described this as a "mild flu". All recovered completely and are none the worse for wear. Obviously, there are those who are nervous and whose panic buttons detonate quickly, and, of course, there are people with heads in the sand. There are also those who want to sell mega amounts of ridiculous vaccines and drugs and those who are talking about FEMA camps and other nightmares that personally I believe must be avoided at all cost. First, the hoax must be exposed. The "epidemic" is not really any more life threatening than crossing a busy street, maybe less so. If exposed, the consequences are relatively minor and easily addressed through your choice of immune boosters <http://www.immuneformulas.com> , antivirals, proper hydration, and rest. It's impossible to keep up with every report, but this virus is not bigger than the bomb. I can be cynical where politics and money are concerned. Obviously there are those who would like to find some huge distractions to keep our minds off the economy, but the risk the schemers take is that the populace has a threshold and at some point, they will have had enough of Big Brother. Assuming that people have ingested enough fluoride to be thoroughly passive might be an error in judgment but correct or not, there is a gamble that more whistle blowers will appear and more covert "stuff" will surface so I think it's best to focus on how we have influenza bugs all the time and there are generally a certain number who succumb, not because the bugs are virulent but because the individuals were weak and vulnerable. This said, you never know whether the powers that be will overreact or not. The best way to restrain them is to be noisy and sign petitions and deluge Congress. It actually works. For instance, Ron Paul has enough supporters now to force an audit on the Federal Reserve. It didn't happen because a lot of people were quiet; it happened because a lot of people insisted and because he has been indefatigable. So, we need to insist on correct assessment of facts as well as our right to self-quarantine if we feel threatened by our own government or a virus. Nothing would be worse than putting a lot of people together in a small space. You could be absolutely certain of loss of hygiene and the spread of infection. Rational minds have to take a stand here and meanwhile, if you are out and about, you ought to be boosting your immunity and perhaps carrying some essential oil <http://www.eodiffuser.com> .. Everyone has favorite essential oils. I go through cycles. There was a phase when I liked all the resins, especially myrrh and guaiacum but when I got more into diffusing, I had to focus on lighter oils that don't clog the nebulizer. Everyone seems to know that both wild oregano and tea tree are potent, but I wonder if you realize that thyme is also way up there? Cinnamon and clove are also very effective. I put thyme in my bath (with the Epsom salts) and it does not irritate my skin, 5-8 drops maximum per tub of water. The truth is I am so sensitive to mold that I wouldn't really thrive with all the landscaping upheaval. The compost and mulch and even the soil seem to be riddled with white lines that remind me of Roquefort cheese with a little color alteration. So, relaxing in a tub with some inhalation is good for my psyche and hopefully also for my physicality. Okay, this relieves me of the need to respond to lots of emails! On another note, I was at the market a couple of days ago and there was an exhibit from a honey producer in Vermont. They have been donating honey to use as a topical skin treatment for wounded seals. Most of the severe flesh wounds were caused by nasty encounters with sharks. The seals were kept out of the water for 2-3 months while they healed, but the honey proved to be totally effective and safe. The representative from the company was extremely dedicated to her work and well-informed so I asked her why honey was labeled "clover" or "wildflower" when bees jump from flower to flower. She said that I am exactly right so they do not label their honey as anything but raw, meaning unfiltered, not pasteurized, and much more delicious. I found the tiny bit on the end of popsical stick way too sweet without something to share the flavor. One thing led to another and we started talking about diabetes and I asked if she had mixed cinnamon powder in honey and tried the unthinkable. She said they actually do suggest this to their customers . . . so there we go. It's a very powerful tonic and I am sure it helped Tundra a lot in her last years because I gave her cinnamon in manuka honey. Finally for today, I would like to say that people stumble on my web sites or sometimes google them with the intention of finding new markets for their products. This is sometimes how something is added to the site. The last few days were particularly hectic and a whole line of organic sprouting seeds and paraphenalia are being added. Some items arrived in the last two days and some are due early next week. For those who are security conscious, some sprouts produce edible greens within a day and some take longer but the sprouts are packed with nutrients, including enough protein and vitamins for most people's needs. I actually like cooked food better than raw because, I suppose, travel in third world countries induced some caution as well as a passion for spices. However, I just washed some jars and trays and am about to sprout some sunflower seeds. I suspect they will be green by morning and a few parrots are going to be very happy. Our, Savika's and my, farming seva is making headway. One sunflower is now two feet tall. I can't wait to see more flowers! I keep imbibing Fukuoka's philosophy and one of the lines that touched me deeply was that he regarded the healing of the land and purification of the human spirit as belonging to the same process. Ending on a way lighter note than I started, I would like to say that Savika is so interested in our gardening project that she actually wanted to share my artichoke tonight. I was astonished that she loved the heart, with or without dipping sauce, and was so devoted to this joint work that she followed me to the compost bin when I put the leaves in there.
