Hello,

I know this question is kind of redundant but i am wondering if the oleander

protocol still works with chemo. I know the question has been asked before but

i guess i never paid attention because i never thought i would accept chemo. At

this point, however, I don't see hoe I an deny it. Something has to be done. I

have metastatic hurthle cell thyroid cancer. One tumor begins in my neck and

extends into my chest and is putting pressure on my heart. My heart function is

at 45% right now. My neck is twice its normal size and i am so uncomfortable.

I am only 30 years old and I feel ancient. I have no energy and as much as try

to stay positive, i am sliping into some serious depression. Chemo or radiation

is all my doctor can offer me. Radiation might shrink the tumor hat is pressing

on my heart, but it will leave the rest untreated. I don't know what to do!

Nicole and Group,

My Mom, who has stage 4 ovarian cancer started Oleander pills in January just about two weeks prior to starting chemo. Her hair fell out initially when she started the chemo but then started growing back again immediately and well before she finished her 13 weeks of chemo.

I went to visit her just 4 weeks after she finished with the chemo and was amazed at the full head of hair she had. As if it had never fallen out. She experienced only mild side effects from the chemo and bounced back completely and quickly after she stopped the chemo.

I believe that the Oleander played a big part in her favorable experience with chemo and believe if she would have started it earlier than two weeks before her first chemo treatment that she might not have lost her hair at all.

You might let your doctor know that you'll be taking Oleander along with the chemo. Evidently the Oleander potentiates the effects of the chemo and you should not need as much. Most doctors will not care about this and will go ahead with the full chemo dosage but, it is always good to let them know what else you are taking. You just might find one that takes an interest.Rose

Hi Nicole,Oleander lessens or eliminates the side effects of chemo. Actually, Rosemarie responsed to your post perfectly. How long have you been taking Oleander, and at what dose? I would go up to six capsules a day. During and after chemo, continue to take the oleander, together with the Natural Anti-Cancer Protocol , as much of it as you can. In fact, I would suggest that you do all of it.More importantly Nicole, try to keep a positive attitude. This plays an integral part in healing. My very best to you, oleander soup , "ngilbert4787" <ngilbert4787 wrote:>> Hello,> > I know this question is kind of redundant but i am wondering if the oleander protocol still works with chemo. Nicole,

My heart goes out to you as these are difficult decisions to make when you are

feeling so awful. I have a naturopathic doctor who helped me make those kinds of

decisions. Yet if I had known that Oleander makes chemo more tolerable I'm not

sure what route I'd have taken.

I have lung cancer with brain mets and I have had radiation. My ND suggested

that we could 'buy some time' by reducing the tumor mass giving us more time to

rebuild and heal my body. So far so good, though I may end up taking chemo

somewhere down the road. What is clear is that you need some kind of

intervention that will give you the strength to survive. I hope that you have

some reliable medical or ND person who can help you make a decision as soon as

possible, and know that we are here for you.

Thank you for your reply. I take the liquid extract as the swelling in my

neck makes it difficult to swallow pills. I am taking 3 teaspoons a day. Is

this the correct dosage? While I am relieved that oleander will help with the

side effects of chemo, will it still work at killing cancer cells or will the

chemo interfere. I do not have faith that chemo alone will help me. I need to

attack this with as many things as possible so I am looking for alternative

things that will work in tandem with chemo. Rosemarie's post made me feel that

it does as she suggested to tell the doctor that I am taking Oleander as this

may lessen the amount of chemo needed, but I was just hoping for some

clarification. Thank you all for your support.

Hi Nicole,This is the dosage for the liquid extract:Suggested Dosages (Cancer, Hep C, Neurological problems) Sutherlandia OPC (500ml Liquid) Start off by taking 5ml (1 teaspoon) once per day during mealtime for 2 days. Increase dosage to 5 ml twice per day with meals for a further 2 days. Increase dosage to 5ml three times per day with meals for 1 month. If no improvement, increase dosage to 10ml three times per day for 2 months. If still no response, the dosage can be increased to 45ml per day (3 x 15ml) When in remission, the dosage can be reduced to 10ml per day for at least a further 3 - 6 monthsYes, it will still kill cancer cells. Oleander potentiates chemo, makes it work more effectively. Unfortunately, not all doctors approve of its use. Please do not be swayed.Nicole, how long have you been taking the oleander extract? Also, are you following the Natural Anti-Cancer Protocol in its entirety? /anticancer.htm This is very important to combat the harmful effects that chemo has on the body. It is imperative to do everything you can to strengthen your immune system. My very best to you, oleander soup , "ngilbert4787" <ngilbert4787 wrote:>> , > Thank you for your reply.
