Guest guest
Ok, so im about to purchase these products, and a few remaining questions before i go ahead. -Just for curiosity, for pancreatic cancer, for a conservative yet as effective as possible mix, how does my mix sound: -Oleander + selenium(liver) + Cell Forte + a mineral since forte deplete minerals + black seed oil(great for pancreas) +budwig style diet(flax oil/cottage cheese, vegetables, no animal protein etc) ? -I know theres intramax for minerals/vitamins. Theres also the 75 plant based supplement from utopia. Is either of those, on their own, enough to compensate for all the mineral/vitamin depletion resulting from Cellforte/inositol? IF not, is there a single supplement that is sufficient to compensate? (not having to take 2 different supplements) -Any good milk thistle supplement, preferrably in powder form, if possible? Url of website where to buy please. -Can i open the selenium capsules from utopia, and mix it in a drink? im trying to find ways to cut the capsules intake for my mom as much as possible (yes, to me its stupid, but my mom just wont take many pills per day) -Does the cell forte/inositol in powder taste bad or quite unpleasant? (think of someone normal who doesnt like unpleasant taste. Dont answer from your point of view if youre someone who is willing to take anything no matther what the taste) I would put it in a juice. Of course i will buy through Tony's affiliate links. Ready to buy! thanks! Olivier Olivier
Guest guest
OlivierIf you are looking for milk thistle, St Francis Herb Farm near Ottawa makes a very good tincture. You can buy it here:http://www.nationalnutrition.ca/SearchResult.aspx?KeyWords=milk%20thistle & All=True - this is a Canadian site. Guest guest
Olivier, Don't leave out iodine. I take mine (a combination of magnascent and SSKI that I get from Trapper, aka group member Steve Wilson) mixed in orange juice and the taste if plenty good. While I like the 75 minerals a lot and take them myself (and they come in liquid form as well as capsule), intraMAX contains those and much, much more. The Cell Forte does not taste at all unpleasant. You can get powdered milk thistle in four ounce containers from Mountain Rose Herbs. As far as I know, the selenium at Utopia Silver comes in tablets, not capsules. I would not recommend powdering it or taking it from capsules and mixing it - it has an unpleasant taste when you do so. It is a supplement she is going to have to be willing to take in pill form and it is not only protective of the liver but also a necessary co-factor for iodine. Guest guest
Ok im buying. Also, lastly Tony, -Which pancreatic enzyme to buy? (im ignorant. i want one that has same effect as ??Dr Kelly? who had pancreatic cancer and healed with enzymes) One in powder/liquid form if possible(but only if its a good one).. And how will she take it? With each meal? How many? If she already takes creon( some digestive enzymes prescribed by doc) does she take them together? Eliminate creon? -How do i get the iodine? What quantity/how many times per day/when to take it? -What quantity of milk thistle per day? What quantity/how many times per day/when to take it? (hopefully i ll be able to combine several into a drink) Thats ALL i will buy for now. phew...(god bless the credit card..i guess) I will wait until you tell me where to buy pancreatic enzymes before ordering(to not order 2 times from the same website with 2 shipping costs) Thanks Tony : ) Olivier oleander soup , "" wrote: > > > Olivier, > > Don't leave out iodine. Guest guest
Pancreatic Enzymes should also be on your list (I didn't see it on the list -- maybe she is already taking it?) Even if she will not take any other pills she needs pancreatic enzymes. Univase Forte is a good one and Tony has it on his site. Guest guest
Hi Dr Loretta, thanks for jumping in. I was just asking: And how will she take the pancreatic enzymes? With each meal? How many? If she already takes creon( some digestive enzymes prescribed by doc) does she take them together? Eliminate creon and just use the one you recommend? thanks! oleander soup , " Dr. Loretta Lanphier " <drlanphier wrote: > > Pancreatic Enzymes should also be on your list (I didn't see it on the list > -- maybe she is already taking it?) > > Even if she will not take any other pills she needs pancreatic enzymes. > Univase Forte is a good one and Tony has it on his site. > > Be Well > Dr.L >
Guest guest
Legally, since I am not a medical doctor, I cannot tell you whether to take her off the Creon or not. Consult with her attending doctor. Univase Forte contains the highest levesl of a-chymotrypsin which according to Dr. Kelley’s and Dr. Gonzalez’s protocol is very important. I don’t see from the ingredient list that Creon contains a-chymotrypsin. I do see that it contains a lot of chemicals. The active ingredient evaluated in clinical trials is lipase. CREON is dosed by lipase units. Other active ingredients include protease and amylase. CREON contains the following inactive ingredients: cetyl alcohol, dimethicone, hypromellose phthalate, polyethylene glycol, and triethyl citrate. The imprinting ink on the capsule contains dimethicone, 2-ethoxyethanol, shellac, soya lecithin, and titanium dioxide. The shells contain FD & C Blue No. 2, gelatin, red iron oxide, sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide, and yellow iron oxide. If she decides to take the Univase Forte then she will need to work up to 5 caplets 20 minutes before lunch, dinner and bed. Guest guest
Wow, thats a lot of pills. Isnt there an alternative, that takes less capsules, or is just in a different more easy form, like liquid or powder? When you say " > The active ingredient evaluated in clinical trials is lipase. CREON is dosed by lipase units. " Do you mean the active ingredient of Univase is lipase, and creon also is dosed by lipase units? Putting legal stuff aside(of course i would nt haver her stop creon without consent of a doctor), does Univase look like its " mission " (sorry bad english) is the same as creon, that is, to provide the enzymes for digestion that the pancreas would otherwise have to provide? -The thing with my mother is, she eats extremely little at a time (i thought with her new stent 1 week ago, that by now she would eat more...just a few bites of something at a time), but eat like i dunno, 6-8 times per day. So im not sure if she would need to take univase every time she eat a little bit, maybe just 1, and then 5 around meal time when she eat, and at bed time..?(regardless of the creon issue) Theres nothing legal here, im just asking for opinion. Guest guest
From what I understand Dr. Gonzalez has enzymes made especially to his specifications and therefore does not recommend any particular brands. The brands that are listed below, while good, do not have the a-chymotrypsin (I don't think). Plus the sites that are recommended do not give an ingredient list. Please don't buy from sites that don't have the courtesy to list the product ingredients. That should put a huge red-flag up. Guest guest
Olivier, I understand that you are asking for opinion and may not be interesed in " legal " but I have to be concerned with “legal” especially since we never know who is reading these forums. And you did ask if she should get off of the Creon. There are people here that on any ones recommendations will run out and do accordingly. That concerns me as no one knows an individuals health history better than their healthcare practitioner or themselves. The ingredient list was for Creon, not Univase Forte. Yes, it is a lot of caplets but very necessary. People who have cancer must use therapeutic dosaging in order for supplements to help their health situation. Their body needs help and support in order to bring it back into health because it is in a dis-eased state. One or two pills of anything, which is what would be recommended for someone healthy, is not going to do much for a dis-eased body. I think the " mission " of Univase Forte is much better than Creon. But again, just my opinion, and what I have seen with clients. If she is only taking bites of food here and there then 1-2 UF is recommended and then the larger amounts with her larger meals. Guest guest
Hey Loretta, first, thanks for your great support and time. Just to close this discusion: From your other post i gather that you do not recommend the 2 pork enzymes that you said Gonzales recommended, correct? (a bit confused as you first said he recommended those 2 you listed, then went on to say he doesnt recommend any) But instead univase forte, correct? (The only worry is how gonzales was saying how pork enzymes worked so well with pancreatic cancer, and univase is plant based) Done! Ive bought everything but pancreatic enzymes, and with a reply to this, i ll make my final purchase : ) One love Olivier oleander soup , " Dr. Loretta Lanphier " <drlanphier wrote: > > Olivier, I understand that you are asking for opinion and may not be > interesed in " legal " but I have to be concerned with " legal " especially > since we never know who is reading these forums. Guest guest
Hi Olivier It’s not that I don’t recommend them, I don’t believe they are as effective and it is because there is no a-chymotripsin in them. And I don’t believe that Gonzalez recommended them as that is not the type that he uses, from what I understand. Someone else sent those two links into the group saying that Dr. Gonzalez recommends them. I recommend UF and it is not plant bassed. It it made from porcine (pork). Guest guest
Hi Loretta, great. Im getting those tonight. Only sort of warning it gives in the description is: it says: " Pancreas Natural Glandular products from lamb, pork and beef can be used in a dietary rotation plan by those who are highly sensitive " -First of all not sure what sensitive means here, but is it your experience(or what you hear from others) that i(my mom) should not use Univase Forte all the time, that she should switch to a different enzymes after a certain period? Or stick to this one all the time is ok? If another one to rotate with, if you could point to another good one to rotate (ONLY IF need be. if no need, jsut say so) Ok, going to buy univase with the affiliate link now thanks Dr Loretta : ) Olivier oleander soup , " Dr. Loretta Lanphier " <drlanphier wrote: > > Hi Olivier > > It's not that I don't recommend them, I don't believe they are as effective > and it is because there is no a-chymotripsin in them.
