Tony, Where might one find Hawthorne Berry Syrup? I read somewhere recently about how good that is for the heart and my daughter would like to try it.

My 24 year old daughter has suffered for several years of a panic attacs, anxiety disorder, brought on by a racing heart.

I was talking to her recently on the phone (I am in Germany and she is Ca.) anyway I wasn't feeling well and I told her I was feeling weak, faint,

sorta an anxiety attack and she said, " I understand, I live each day of my

life feeling like that."

I think she inherits a lot of this from along with insominia. I was with her once when it happened and it really scared me. She gets clammy, and throws up. Usually after she throws up she comes out of it. But she has been hospitialized several times for it, but they always say she doesn't get to the hospital in time to determine what is causing it, but they want to operate!!

I am sure that's a real shocker.

She has been to dr, after dr. and cardiologist wanted to do heart surgery, althought they couldn't find anything wrong with her heart. The suggested going up through the groin area with something and doing shock treatments, and some other surgery they recommended. Of course we didn't do any of that.

Thanks,

Also, I highly recommend both cayenne pepper tincture (a potent cancer fighter too) and Dr. Christopher's Hawthorne Berry Syrup for arythmia and overall cardiovascular health. and I take both on a regular basis.

Again, great news and thanks for letting us know!

All the best,

OMG those doctors.....I had a problem like this for years ( I have shared some on this forum about it before )and the doctors wanted to do all kind of things to me....I did let them do a lot of tests. The medicines (for anxiety) made me like a crazy person...I finally just refused to take another thing and made up my mind that I was going to whip it or die trying. Mine would usually happen at night while I was asleep and it would wake me up. After a while I was afraid to sleep. It was Awful...I was afraid that I would do something crazy (felt like somethinng was going to happen to me)....pounding heart, threw up, chills, tingles, bp went up....and felt like I was going to loose control and wanted to run outside and many other things. I recall that after throwing up I always started to feel better too.

I really think that a lot of mine was from stress and not sleeping enough, plus I had GERD. I purchased all kinds of programs and took all kinds of vitamins, etc....nothing helped until I started taking the omega 3 and doing meditation, cut out all caffene and removed myself from stressful situations and started walking. MSG, artificial sweetners and meds with codine or caffene in them, etc anything that has excitoxins in them can bring on an attack for me. That was about 5 years ago and I almost never have that racing heart or nervousness in my chest...these are also symptoms of panic or anxiety (that was usually how my attacks began). If a person has never experienced these attacks it is very difficult to make them understand what you are going through....The heart specialist did all kinds of tests and could never really find anything wrong....and once when it showed up while I was wearing a heart monitor...they saw it but still could not find anything because it did not injure my heart. Take better care of yourself ...Try to get in the habit of staying in the present and live in the moment..learn to meditate....this change can work wonders for stress. God bless! Bobbi

Bobbi,

Thanks for your reply. I will send it to my daughter. She does not drink coffee, or she drinks decaf, she eats pretty healthy, she is in college, doesn't have any real worries. We still pay her bills and she travels all over the world with us. She has a pretty easy live

Well, we all have stressand obviously she does, or she wouldn't have these problems, She has had an ulcer and all kinds of medical problems, and even had some of this anxiety, panic attacks in high school.

I have always suffered from the same, and I have to wonder if it is not heredity as I said she doesn't exactly have a stressful life, or I should say she doesn't have what I would call normal stress: working, kids, marriage, husband, etc. are not issues she has never had.

She just has to worry about school and of couse if that is all you have to worry about then that worry is a big thing. But there again, she has had this for so many years, it just got worse about

6 years ago when we moved to Europe with work.

I do all I can to remove any stress from her, but I can't do much more. It has been about six months since she had one of these bad attacks, but then again, she lives witht the anxiety daily.

By the way she has worns the heart monitor more than once, but never has anything happen when she is wearing it. She can't predict when one will come on.

You have come closer than anyone in describing what she goes through.

I have read that heredity plays a part in it. My Mom was a very anxious

and nervous person it seemed everything bothered her and kids made her

nuts to the point she wouldn't baby sit for me (her grand kids) Thank

God she only had me lol

Any how after I was grown and in my early 30's I all of a sudden became

very anxious also and it started slowly after I had my 3rd. child and

got worse over time as I had a stressful life and a totally handicapped

daughter any way it got to the point I wouldn't drive and even go

shopping. It was a terrible feeling and my body was always so tense. I

was on medications for awhile which helped alot but after going through

the change I have been fine.

I think alot of things can contribute to it not only heredity but

hormones and stress in your life and the type personality you are.

Barbara,I think that you have a "blessed opportunity" to resolve these issues of yours and of your daughter, now that you are in Germany. You live now in the country of Bert Hellinger. Have you ever heard about the" family constellation" brought(in the world) by Bert Hellinger?Do a research for Bert Hellinger and his method and find a therapist in Germany to do a constellation for your family (or even better, try to attend a seminar with Bert Hellinger). All the best to you and to your familyEfi--- Στις ΤÏίτ., 17/11/09, ο/η barbara elenniss <bntelenniss έγÏαψε:Από: barbara elenniss <bntelennissΘέμα: Re: Hawthorne Berry SyrupΠÏος:

Hi Barbara

I have so much more info that I could and would be willing to share....I am not a doctor and I am only speaking from my personal experience ....I for years journaled some of my experiences....(it began as far back as the early 80s) when doctors did not know much about stress or anxiety and it was difficult to diagnose.....the problem almost destroyed my life and some of the worst times was when I was in college...and during difficult relationships, working a job that I hated, and just pure emotional trauma which I found sometimes came from just doing things I did not really want to do..but had to do. Always giving.... at least from my perspecitive and never really nurturing myself..

You know even decafe coffee has some caffene...anyway here is my email bobbi10 feel free to contact me or have her contact me if you would care to share, ask me direct questions about things that happened to me(confidential) or just treat yourself to a confidential coaching session or two on me...it is my way of giving back.. I actually changed my lifestyle and got to know the real me and what I needed for my own health, happiness and well being. I am a professional Health & Lifestyle coach/consultant, a graduate of the famous Hilton Johnson Health Coach Training Institute and I would be honored to offer this to you and/or your daughter. (you can learn a lot about me...reading some of my posts at http://4yourhealth.wordpress.com ) that is my health blog ...nothing to sell...just fun information. Another thing that I think helps is using the EFT. I use it frequently when I want to deal with just any everyday things that annnoy me..annoyances and tolerations can cause stress after a time. Meditation can change the way you deal with stress! I did not realize that I even had stress...I am a happy type A personality and I thrive on putting out fires..and excitement....I could hardly believe that I had stress because it did not feel like stress...but what does stress feel like? All those symptoms I guess. People should always go to their doctor first ...if nothing works...then go with their heart. My doctor told me that no one ever died from a panic attack. Of course that can be one of the great fears during an attack that you are having a heart attack or that you are going to die because you feel as though you cannot breathe. I used to keep a paper bag by my bed just in case....and even kept one in my purse and the glove compartment. Breathing into the bag for a little bit would help calm me down. On another post a gentleman explained using the paper bag quite well.

Sounds like you are a wonderful caring mother...but we are all on our own personal journey and our loved ones cannot help us on this very exciting trip. It is all about growth, learning, stretching our beliefs and having faith in who we are and our abilities to be self sufficient, fully functioning adults in the new gloobal world of today. It certainly can be a bit scary for even the fiercest among us.

The oleander soup group is with out a doubt the most informed and caring group of individuals that I have ever had the pleasure of connecting with...I have received so much helpful information from the group and I am happy that I could share.

Blessings

Bobbi

God bless! Bobbi

Hawthorne Berry Syrup

Christopher' s Hawthorne Berry Syrup for arythmia and overall cardiovascular health. and I take both on a regular basis.

Again, great news and thanks for letting us know!

All the best,

Hi Barbara,

Tony and I get our Hawthorne Betty Syrup from iherb. Here is the link:

http://www.iherb.com/Hawthorn-Berry-Heart-Syrup-16-fl-oz-472-ml/11620?at=0

Also, if this is your first order, by inserting Code XOT949, you will receive a $5.00 discount.

They want to mess with her heart and cardiovascular system and do surgery to correct a panic attack??????? Do not let them do this. Anxiety and panic attacks can be corrected by giving the body it's proper nutritional needs and sometimes by addressing emotional issues. One thing that happens when one experiences constant panic attacks though, is the development of a constant fear that another one will occur. Many times, those experiencing panic attacks feel as though death is imminent and they live with the fear of impending death. That the next time a panic attack hits this will be the one that kills them. One must realize that even though we feel that we are about to die, a panic attack will not kill you and after prolonged bouts with this disorder it takes time to alleviate this fear, and it is this very fear that can actually be the trigger for more panic attacks. I hope I

am explaining this clearly. Monitoring one's thoughts is also very important with this disorder, turning negative thoughts into positive ones. Actually an anxiety/panic disorder is very involved and usually must be treated through many aspects. This is a perfect example of healing by Body, Mind, and Spirit.

I am going to copy and paste a post I made recently in another forum on how to address anxiety/panic disorders. I hope this helps both you and your daughter.

Diet is crucial. Stay away from sugar, processed foods, junk foods, fast foods, etc. Eat a mostly raw diet, comprising of 80% raw, 20% cooked. The cooked portion should consist of chicken, fresh water fish, and turkey. Turkey contains L-tryptothan which is very relaxing. No vegetable oil or canola oil. Use only olive oil, flaxseed oil, and coconut oil.

You may want to have your thyroid checked. Sometimes that is the source of panic attacks.

Supplements that will help are the following:

l-Theanine

L-Tryptothan

Colloidal Gold - This is an excellent supplement. It literally preserves the health of the body, mind, and spirit. It helps stabilize any chemical imbalances in the brain and lifts depression. You can get this at http://www.utopiasilver.com. They have a first time buyer offer where you get one free bottle for every 8 oz bottle ordered, but you must call to receive this offer. After that, by using their coupon code LR001, you will receive a 15% discount if it is not on sale. Actually, this is good for all of their products. I take this supplement daily.

Plant Derived Trace Minerals - Trace minerals are crucial. Many times the cause of anxiety is due to a deficiency in these minerals. They also help to correct any chemical imbalances.

Hawthorne Berry Syrup - This will help with a racing heart and will calm panic attacks.

Iodine supplementation is crucial. Many times anxiety is due to a deficiency in iodine.

Bach's Flower Remedies will help him to relax. Go down the list for the remedies that will help in his particular situation.

http://www.bachflower.com/

Also, what helped me immensely was a product by the name of Mind Soothe carried by http://www.nativeremedies.com.

Hi Donna,I'm not so sure that these conditions are actually hereditary or if they are, in fact, "learned behavior." Children emulate their parents. picking up their stresses and fears. Many times this is how we learn to "worry." Not to mention the role that nutrition plays. as we also pick up our eating habits from our parents. When you have a combination of the two, you have the perfect recipe for a future anxiety/panic disorder. In many instances, the seed is planted at a very early age only to sprout in all its glory later in life. Hormones also play a very important role and many times this is also due to poor nutrition. For example, it is very common for an anxiety disorder to suddenly appear after childbirth. This condition is very complex. You and I have a similar history. I, too, developed an anxiety/panic disorder in my early 30's, also after the birth of my second child. But at that time, I also had undergone an extremely traumatic event. Anyway, I, too, was agoraphobic for some time and had to learn how to live all over again. My parents were nervous people in their own right. I could also say that my condition was hereditary but as I look back, I can see that it was merely the same old baggage passed on through the generations, together with poor nutrition. My job was to break that "baggage" cycle, together with learning how to properly nourish the physical body.Hugs, oleander soup , Donna <dscroggs44646 wrote:>> I have read that heredity plays a part in it.
