Raw honey has been know to lessen or completely ameliorate scarring, even in the case of 3rd degree burns.Betsynikomtl1 <overloadedoleander soup Sent: Tue, November 17, 2009 1:35:29 PM Minor skin surgery (mole removal) advice on

Honey gets rid of scars, even old ones. Aloe or E will help minimize scaring. Maybe do the Aloe or E during the day and then put some honey on at night and cover with a bandaid for stickiness.

Hi Nikomtl1

Vitamin E oil, is the best to minimize sergical scars, also calendula oil can do the same thing.

Hope this helps you

Ok, thanks I got both vit e and castoir oil... Ill try them, I had moles removed before... and not much scaring but I always used the cream from pharmacy :) I think its better then DIY methods...where you need to apply some sort of paste to remove stuff, I did before with Wart Mole Vanish before, works well, from the first shot... but then it takes time to dry, fall off etc...

There's a product called 'Scars-No-More' that is helpful in reducing

scarring or even removing it, but it is expensive. The active ingredient

is an essential oil called helichrysum, which, diluted in a carrier oil

(rosehip oil in 'Scars-No-More'), is reputed to reduce scarring and is

cheaper. I have used this and it definitely helped to fade some scars I

have.
