Decaf coffee is not a good idea. This is hearsay but I am told that people who work at processing decaf (and instant) coffee would never drink it themselves. Apparently they use toxic elements to decaf and process the coffee. If you want to take most or all of the jitters out of your coffee add a goodly pinch of nutmeg to the grounds during the brewing.Betsybobbi henderson <bobbi10oleander soup Sent: Tue, November 17, 2009 1:59:53 PMRe: Hawthorne Berry Syrup

Hi Barbara

I have so much more info that I could and would be willing to share....I am not a doctor and I am only speaking from my personal experience ....I for years journaled some of my experiences. ...(it began as far back as the early 80s) when doctors did not know much about stress or anxiety and it was difficult to diagnose.... .the problem almost destroyed my life and some of the worst times was when I was in college...and during difficult relationships, working a job that I hated, and just pure emotional trauma which I found sometimes came from just doing things I did not really want to do..but had to do. Always giving.... at least from my perspecitive and never really nurturing myself..

You know even decafe coffee has some caffene...anyway here is my email bobbi10 (AT) tampabay (DOT) rr.com feel free to contact me or have her contact me if you would care to share, ask me direct questions about things that happened to me(confidential) or just treat yourself to a confidential coaching session or two on me...it is my way of giving back.. I actually changed my lifestyle and got to know the real me and what I needed for my own health, happiness and well being. I am a professional Health & Lifestyle coach/consultant, a graduate of the famous Hilton Johnson Health Coach Training Institute and I would be honored to offer this to you and/or your daughter. (you can learn a lot about me...reading some of my posts at http://4yourhealth. wordpress. com ) that is my health blog ...nothing to sell...just fun information. Another thing that I think helps is using the EFT. I use it frequently when I want to deal with just any everyday things that annnoy me..annoyances and tolerations can cause stress after a time. Meditation can change the way you deal with stress! I did not realize that I even had stress...I am a happy type A personality and I thrive on putting out fires..and excitement.. ..I could hardly believe that I had stress because it did not feel like stress...but what does stress feel like? All those symptoms I guess. People should always go to their doctor first ...if nothing works...then go with their heart. My doctor told me that no one ever died from a panic attack. Of course that can be one of the great fears during an attack that you are having a heart attack or that you are going to die because you feel as though you cannot breathe. I used to keep a paper bag by my bed just in case....and even kept one in my purse and the glove compartment. Breathing into the bag for a little bit would help calm me down. On another post a gentleman explained using the paper bag quite well.

Sounds like you are a wonderful caring mother...but we are all on our own personal journey and our loved ones cannot help us on this very exciting trip. It is all about growth, learning, stretching our beliefs and having faith in who we are and our abilities to be self sufficient, fully functioning adults in the new gloobal world of today. It certainly can be a bit scary for even the fiercest among us.

The oleander soup group is with out a doubt the most informed and caring group of individuals that I have ever had the pleasure of connecting with...I have received so much helpful information from the group and I am happy that I could share.

Blessings

Bobbi
