Guest guest
Hiya Leanne, While I highly recommend if you are interested in learning Reiki that you take a class and receive an attunement from an Reiki master; a really good book for learning the history of Reiki and a bit about hand positions and symbols is- " Essential Reiki: A complete guide to an ancient healing art " by Diane Stein http://www.amazon.com/Essential-Reiki-Complete-Ancient- Healing/dp/0895947366/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-9810717-7839203? ie=UTF8 & s=books & qid=1179901873 & sr=8-1 I found this book to be very informative and interesting. While everyone has the potential to be a healer, I do believe the gift of healing is something that some born with and others receive simply through attunement. I say this is because I was able to do spiritual healing before I received my first attunement, even so I think the class helped me to learn how to focus my Chi properly. Anyway, I guess my point is, there is only so much that can be learned from a book, a large part of it is interactive learning. I hope that helps. ~Kelly Chinese Traditional Medicine , " LEANNE ANTAYA " <leanneantaya wrote: > > > Does the book go into " reiki " very much and if not can you recommend one > that does for beginners?
