The frequency for electronic machines depends on a number of factors,

including the specific location of your pain on the body, the type of

machine you are using, the wavelength you have selected and whether

you are using acupuncture needles or adhesive pads on the given area.

 

I teach courses in electronic acupuncture, and there are some eighty

or more types of disease patterns treated by electronic acupuncture,

which have been thoroughly researched in terms of point selection,

type of machine and course of treatment. One must take into

consideration a wide number of variables before plugging in the

electrodes.

 

The badly-translated user manuals that often come with the machines

don't give nearly enough information about how to use the machines

properly.
