Guest guest
Hello to all, I wonder if I can have some input from this wonderful group on a very difficult situation. My father has just undergone quadruple bypass surgery and is suffering from aorta arterial calcification. On top of that he's been diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of sigmoid portion of colon, which greatly worries me since another operation at this point is out of the question. He's currenly 78 and lives in Brazil. He has been a smoker and drinker all his life till recently but despite of that he seems to be recovering well from the quadruple bypass surgery. I understand that without an exam of his tongue and pulse and other interactive diagnostics tools it's almost imossible to give meaningful guidance but can anyone help suggest any strong antineoplastic formulation that might delay the progression of the cancer until an operation is a possibility? Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks, Marilia

Many of the anti-cancer herbs are also somewhat toxic, so you should not go fishing for particular herbs for your father without any further differentiation from someone who has the necessary TCM background. What I would suggest is a general tonic to help him heal and improve his body's immune system which can help the body control the cancer until he can handle a surgery. Still, you're going to need to have him see someone who knows what they're doing. -al. -- , DAOM Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. Guest guest
Thank you for your help Al! Unfortunately TCM is not very well known in Brazil and I wouldn't be able to find someone trustworthy that could give the necessary diagnostic. I will try to see if I can take pictures of his face and tongue, would that be helpful? Would you be able to offer some guidelines based on that? Again, any help is really appreciated.
