Guest guest
Hi All, I have just been reading Japanese Acupuncture : A clinical guide by Stephen Birch and Junko Ida. It introduced some of the non-penetrating techniques of " shonishin " but I am keen to find out more detailed info on the topic. My acupuncture training is strictly modern TCM orientated and I am very interested in learning about more subtle and non-invasive techniques for the treatment of children. If anyone on the list could point me in the right direction regarding texts, websites, etc. I would greatly appreciate it!! (I already have the Julian Scott text). Best Wishes to all! Guest guest
hello steven, my knowledge about this topic is not very profound, but in " esoteric acupuncture - gateway to expanded healing Vol. I " (isbn: 096706371 - x), mikio sankey mentions a non-insertion-technique developed by toyo hari. you´ll find the passage on page 59, chapter V. maybe you´ll find something when searching the web with " toyo hari " via google or mamma.com. good luck, robert - " Steven Slater " <dragonslive <Chinese Medicine > Saturday, March 20, 2004 3:42 PM More info on japanese acupuncture for children?
