Guest guest
Hi Everybody! I visited Representative Katherine Harris's office late last week to follow up on a letter I had sent some time ago. The staffer I spoke with, Connie McKee, agrees that the FDA Ma Huang/Ban Xia situation is ambiguous. Connie suggested that everyone who lives in the Florida 13th congressional district who is affected by TCM write a hard-copy letter to Katherine's local office outlining his/her thoughts. This can be a form letter supplied by the one or another TCM interest group if that expresses your thought. The address is Rep. Katherine Harris,1991 Main Street Suite 181, Sarasota FL 34236. Of course, those in other districts should write to their Representative as well. <http://harris.house.gov/> At 11:13 AM 3/21/2004, Richard Freiberg wrote: Lady Melody<snip> > " Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine National Coalition The FDA rule does >not exempt ephedrine alkaloids at all - even as used in the practice of >herbal medicine.
