Guest guest
Hi Phil. Below is the standardised prescription for the treatment of RA and SA that I was given from a doctor in the rheumatology ward at Zhong Ri. Bu Sui Gu 10g, Bu Gu Zhi (Fructus Psoraleae Corylifoliae) 12g, Sang Ji Sheng (Ramulus Sangjisheng) 15-20g, Chuan Duan (Radix Dipsaci Asperi) 15g, Jin Gao Zi 30g, Qing Hao (Herba Artemisiae Annuae) 10g, Du Huo (Radix Angelica Pubescentis) 10g, Fang Feng (Radix Ledebouriellae Divaricatae) 10g, Zhi Yuan Hu 15-18g, Di Bie Chong (Eupolyphaga seu Opisthoplatia) 6-10g, Qing Feng Teng 15g, Hai Feng Teng (Caulis Piperis Futokadsurae) 15g, Luo Shi Teng (Caulis Trachelospermi Jasminoidis) 20g, Ji Xue Teng (Radix et Caulis Jixueteng) 15g. Dosage may vary for western patients. The herbs without the Latin name are not in Bensky and Gamble's Materia Medica. I do not have the variations for Hot/Cold syndromes, they simply said add hot or cold herbs.
