Hi all,

Thought this was interesting as it will highlight more the adverse

effects of WM. Hopefully, this will be weighed against the little

adverse effects of TCM and give TCM more of a chance in the

healthcare arena.

The [uK] Government has said that patients will be allowed to report

side-effects of drugs to a safety body, in an extension of

the " yellow card " scheme, which was introduced 40 years ago after

the thalidomide scandal. Currently, only 15 per cent of health

professionals use the system of reporting. Details of pilot schemes,

to be announced shortly, will include reporting cards placed in GP

surgeries.
