Guest guest
Hi, I was wondering if there was any member of this group who has attended the Tri-State Institute of TCM? I would be interested in learning more about their curriculum. Thank you. Regards, Rich

Guest guest
Hi Maria, Thanks for responding and I am happy to meet you. I was wondering if you would be willing to relate to me some of your experiences at Tri-Sate or any other institutions that you have attended. I am particularly interested in Tri-State because my approach to Tuina massage has been favorably influenced by Mark Seems books. I have found that as the physical energetic layer " relaxes " the deeper emotional layers reveal themselves and projects themselves. It seems that everything ultimately leads back to the Shen (heart/mind). I have developed my own approach, but I am wondering about these questions: 1) To what extent does Tri-Sate model his curriculum after Mr. Seems' own perspective which closely adhere's to the classical method that my own doctor uses and to what extent does Tri-State model its curriculum after what is called the TCM model? 2) What texts does Tri-State uses to teach the body energetics perspective - if they teach this perspective? 3) What are your own ideas/experiences on this subject? 4) Have you taken any post-graduate workshops/classes on the body energetics approach and if so where? 5) Is tuina and/or qigong taught at Tri-Sate and to what extent to do you incorporate these approaches? Any ideas and thoughts on these subjects would be greatly appreciated. Also if you know of any other schools that teach Asian medicine using this approach, I would very much like to know about them. Thank you for any thoughts you might share with me, Regards, Rich Chinese Medicine , rmkuriloff@a... wrote: > my name is maria kuriloff and i'm a graduate of tri state. > > >
