Guest guest
Very interesting and stimulating, too. I think that TCM is the " base " , but sometimes we can search beyond the tradition finding something new. Dr. Holmes said " based upon me " : three months ago I felt pain in the wisdom tooth, lower, right side, and I felt clearly all the Left LI channel, from the left second finger, up to the right side, both uppper and lower arch; usually is said that the LI channel reaches the 20th point in the opposite, upper, but maybe it isn't true. Coming back to Laura's problem, it seems to be connected with a bad " communication " between Ren Mai and Du Mai; I remember that someone in this list, suggested the puncture in Hui Yin, CV1, isn't it? But, before keeping off your teeth, Laura, perhaps you need a WM diagnosis; if chronical abscess (granuloma) maybe you could need only the homoepathic treatment suggested in the list, and/or then, if necessary, a small surgical treatment only on the tooth's root, without keeping off it; if bad alignement, it's useful a mechanical solution as a " bite " in hard, plastic material, up to " teach " to your teeth how to aligne better. All treatments depend on diagnosis, both western and chinese. Teeth are not the only cause: I saw a lot of cases of low back pain due to verrucae in the feet sole, or those hard formation in the skin of fingers, close to nails (I don't remember english name! recall me!); often this in BL 67 is connected with chronical back pain. Of course treatment, in my opinion, should be double: local treatment as in Western mode (podologist, in this case) and TCM treatment (channels, herbs, if due to -i.e.- to a lack in the Yin of KI) to prevent and treat the " root " . Other causes could be scars, surgical and not: in these cases I treat scar with Procaine 1 % (Neuraltherapy) which resets the energy balancement of the involved channel (if it works, in very few seconds!). In such cases TCM is the only way to understand why, but couldn't be the right treatment. All is useful is welcome! But these are only my opinions, naturally. Best regards to all in the list, and thank you in listening me, too!
