Guest guest
As some of you may remember, my son Ale, soon 16, who has an osteoporosis imperfecta recently went through a great operation and he left the hospital after just a few days. We felt lots of support from people on the list, and I am sure all those thoughts and intentions and prayers were makeing a huge difference. Ale has for the last two-three days had a fever around 40 celcius (a little bit above what normaly is a good temperature for infections. He has no pain in the leg, and no changes visibly in the scar tissue. He is just hot and tired. Sometimes a little headache. His puls is rapid and tense, but the toungue is pale and dry, cracked in the middle. Urin dark. Not hungry at all. (He has had a stry of LI not working after operation, even with an acute ambulance condition but at this point I doubt it is that. He has defecated, at least some) palpations on abdomen indicates LI and ST excess. He had a spontaneous sweating today while sleeping. He sweated a lot. Nothing I do seems to help, (It sure is hard to treat your own kids) and maybe he has to go through this, whatever it is. I know I have not used all I got, but at the moment I am reluctant to do so. I feel blind, maybe for the love and compassion I feel for him. Is there anyone out there who has a hunch what to do or what to look for, based on this scarce information? Love and blindness Holger
Guest guest
Hi Holger! Well, this is not TCM but - if there is infection vitamin C may help the immune system combat it. If his bowels have been sluggish vitamin C will help that as well. I usually recommend that people take the time-release, as much as they can handle when they are sick, around 6000 mg when well. If not time-release it will just go through too fast and take everything else along as well.
