Guest guest
Hi everyone Daughter 12 wants to punch a hole in her ears to put jewelry in. Having treated people successfully for a few years, by their ears I resist the idea. But I don't have any substance to hold against really And maybe I am just to much a chicken dad I heard this about holes and rings in the ears: - Sailors who fell of the ship needed the ring to pay a mermaid to get to an island. - Warriors of higher ranking get bigger holes in certain tribes in Zimbabwe. (friends who lived there and met them told me this very evening) - Until a few hundred years ago, it was not unusual in the area around the Mediterranean to treat different disorders by putting a gold or other ring in the ear. - If you put a hole in the ear, you can't treat someone with acupuncture on that specific point. And what I have seen is a person that put 10 golden rings in each ear and could not sleep until she took them out (on my recommendation) she was close to a psychosis... So you see, maybe I should just let my daughter have her holes. Any information you have that talks against holes in ears? Maybe I should get one hole my self? Guest guest
Hi Holger! Tell her she is under age, but when she is an adult she can do it if she still wants to. As a practical matter, wherever the hole is you lose the function of that ear point after a few days.
