Acupuncture in impotence

Impotence has many causes, psychological (for example guilt, rejection, etc),

organic (for example with enlarged prostate or after pelvic surgery) and

functional (for example by side effect of some drugs).

 

Has your friend a sexual partner? If he can achieve an erection when with a

different partner, or by self-stimulation, the problem may be more psychological

than organic. IMO, a few tests with a vibrator would answer that if your friend

has not tried (or is unwilling to try) self-stimulation.

 

I suggest the following points: ST36 alternating with SP06 + CV06 alternating

with CV04 + BL23 alternating with GV04 + CV02 alternating with CV03 + BL33

alternating with BL31 + BL28 alternating with BL32 + LV08, KI12, KI07.

 

Try AP 1-2 times/week for 2-3 weeks and review then. Try a vibrator to get

things started.
