Guest guest
This may be an extremely technical question, or could be really simple -- not sure! I understand how a hydrosol is made, but I'm wondering if they are chemically different from an infusion, and if so, how? Thanks, Debbie deb http://www.bodyhealthcenter.com
Guest guest
Hi Debra, All Well, an infusion is when you steep an herb in oil or water for a relatively short (yet varying) length of time .. but a hydrosol is made through steam or hydro-steam distillation. There will be differing amounts of the various chemical properties of the plant matter in each of the finished products retrieved from each of the various methods of extraction, therefore there will be a different chemical profile and composition to the various finished products Hope that helped *Smile* Chris (list mom) Rose Otto Easter Baskets Available For Immediate Shipment! http://www.alitleolfactory.com Debra McDuffee wrote: > This may be an extremely technical question, or could be really simple -- > not sure!
