I'll send you some posts from this list (off line) on the subject. Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com

I suffered with weak, bad teeth for years. Cavities, absesses, had a few knocked out, etc.... Finally, after years of expensive root canals that turned black after three years, many nights suffering with absesses and having teeth pulled, loseing teeth to decay from the wires of partial plates and such I told my dentist to pull 'em all! when he objected to pulling what he called, healthy teeth, very few of which were left, I told him I wanted the kind of teeth that when something was wrong with them, I could put them in a manilla envelope and mail them to him to fix and then he could mail them back to me. He almost fell off his stool laughing! But I got my wish. I now have a full set of dentures and I wouldn't trade them for all the natural teeth I ever had. I did however insist on all porcelin gums as well as teeth. nothing sticks to them, no denture breath, and I can eat anything I want, corn on the cob, apples, anything. It's just a matter of learning how to use them. Same as contact lenses. If you're vain enough, you'll learn to do or wear anything!
