Hi y'all,

Chemist/Soaper Dr. Bob McDaniel has a basic soaping book ... I have a

copy around somewhere but not sure where .. and I forget the title as

I'm not a soaper .. but lots of folks think its super fine.

I know Bob is a fine feller .. and he was wise enough to use some of my

photographs in his book .. ;-p

Oh Marget you are so right!

I have this one book called The Soap Book by Sandy Maine .. oh the

little book is so pretty and full of lovely pictures, but when you look

at all the recipes .. every single one is the EXACT SAME Crisco recipe

(and Crisco makes a crappier quality soap IMHO) ..

The only difference in her recipes is that she adds a different herb

and/or scent oil in each one :( How hard is that to write a 50 page

book, all with the same recipe and just change whether you add Rosemary

or Dill or Lavender?

I say it is a waste of money, waste of paper and an insult to my

intelligence! But it sells because is pretty looking :)) If properly

packaged even poop can sell (Hey, in the state of Maine they sell

shellacked Moose Dropping jewelry in all the tourist traps! *giggle*)
