Guest guest
Sandi, I noticed in a earlier post you are a Reiki Master. A friend of mine has taken first level reiki and I was wondering what you could tell me in looking for a teacher. I have wanted to do this now for about 2 years. I have read an older Reiki handbook and know a little about it but nothing in the sense of finding a legitimate teacher and how to go about finding a teacher and what is custom in order to receive training. The lady who attuned my friend is having a lot of family problems and is not taking on anyone to teach. Any information would be wonderful. Since this does not really pertain to herbs and oils and you would like to e-mail me privately my address is andreaf Thanks a bunch Andrea
Guest guest
Hello Andrea I am a Reiki practitioner- but not a master/teacher. I would suggest Diane Steins " Essential Reiki " as a wonderful primer and history of the healing art. Many are unaware that Reiki, or " the lightening bolt of divine energy which illumines the mind and heals the body " is an ancient Tibetan tantra- Receiving attunements is an incredible experience(has been for me) and working with the energy- available to all of us- is a beautiful way to spread healing energy throughout the universe- and to friends, family, pets, clients, plants- and your essential oils and herbal creations! Do check out Dianes book- there is good information there- and do seek a teacher- do a search for The American Intl Reiki Assoc in St petersberg FL Reiki Alliance- Eugene OR A.I.R.A Santa Monica CA Hope this helps Would list references from Dianes book- but cant find it right now- Hmm- who did I lend it to?!?!? :-) Michelle

Guest guest
Andrea, Still checking to see if I can find a Reiki Master/Teacher in your area. There is someone in Georgia that is willing to travel to do a group training. I'll see if I can find out where she is in Georgia. Maybe you could go to her if a group training is out of the question. I would think that she would need at least 5 or 6 in a group. Sandi
