Hi Carol and everyone:

You would really like the rose candles that Janet makes. They are not

overpowering--just the most beautiful rose scent I have ever come across. I

just got another order in the mail today. Don't usually burn as many

candles in the summer, but I just can't resist lighting just one votive each

day. They burn long and well. I haven't tried the vanilla. The lilac and

lemongrass/sage are great, too.

Blessings and love,

Effie

Miss Effie~

I sent rose candles and rose tea lights to my mom for Mother's Day.

She called to say, she never liked rose candles but liked these.

(This is the same woman who ask why in the world I would want to

make candles when there were hundreds of candle companies, always

the optimist me ma).

Then see wanted to know it the tea lights would float, she wanted to

float some roses in a cut glass bowl with a tea light in the center.

I told her to hold on, filled a bowl with water and yes the tea lights float.

You are most welcome Miss Effie. (I have started referring to the rose

scent as Miss Effie's Rose.)

Hi Janet:

I'm new to the list and would like to know if you would mind sharing what kind

of rose fragrance oil you used for your candles. I've tried so many and am not

really all that pleased with the throw or scent so far.

Thank you,

Jenn in Or

Hi Effie,

I did order one Rose candle that is the Fo to try.

I have not lit it yet but i will tonight.

The vanilla is wonderful, my daughter who is eapecting 3rd baby

asked me what I baked with vanilla it was so yummy...then she went home with

a few of my votives so i ordered some for her! The lilac so nice also.

I want to try the candles with the EO,s as well what do you recommend?

I cant wait to try the Lavender one as this is always my first choice for a

candle but then again, like Rose, if its not a good one it can be over

powering and remind me of those commercial Glade deodorants you get at the

market!

I love the whole soy candle thing!

thanks

Hi Carol in NJ:

I am not aware of any candles that I have used that are made with strictly

eo's. I have purchased some of the most expensive and el cheapo ones. The

soy candles are truly the best I have every burned. Aren't those Glade ones

pathetic!!! Almost makes me sick to my stomach! Hope you enjoy the rose

candle--the fragrance is so relaxing.

Take care.

Blessings and love,

Effie
