Hi all,

I've been fighting with Front page and . Did you know that a command in

will supersede a command from front page? After days of work in Front

Page, I go to and find that all previous commands stood, because I had

put them THERE first.

So. I've been painting. It's one of the things I discovered that I like doing

when things go nuts. I'm not great, but some people like my stuff. I paint

tiles. I'm on a new kick right now, I'm painting pictograph/totems on tiles.

I like to add a few runes at the bottom of the tile for good luck or

something like it.

I've put a couple up on e-bay, it will be interesting to see if they receive

any interest. They are sort of minimilist art.

If you would like to take a look and see what on EARTH I'm blithering on

about, by all means, here's the links to the Fox and the Cat. Let me know if

you think they are Crap.

Oh! I'm taking another drawing class next month, as if I don't have enough on

my plate! LOL Have to admit, I do like to build on skills and create new

ones. My husband who is British, just DOESN'T understand the weird Americans

who keep returning to school! ROFLMAO!

Here are the links

Hey Anastasia

Nope, I don't do the making or the firing of the tiles. I wanted to, but the

ceramics shop convinced me it wasn't worth it. So I buy them pre-made. I just

paint and cook.

About the pictures, they do NOT show the colors very well. Take the fox for

example, the background is a brilliant yellow, and yet the picture shows it

as a very muted color. >sigh< Gotta empty the digital camera card...LOL!

Thanks for the nice comments.

Cheers!

Nice Kathleen!!!

I love tiles so much!

Do you make them first out of clay and fire them up..I bet some raku

tiles would be nice..

I drew a bunch of runes on my road today with my girls and their

sidewalk chalk..

my neighbors think I am odd but you would think they would have

recognized the early beginings of ther Germanic alphabet!

nope..they just think we are odd..I said " this is your alphabet James

(he is the little German boy down the road) " oh that is cool! "

ah so now that we all know it is Germanic it is cool hugh??

yep

the way of life..

Those are great! I really like the cat one :) I want to go to the ceramic

cafe here in town, you go and paint on a plate, tile, whatever, then they

fire it and you pick it up later. I'm not artistic in the slightest, even

though my grandpa and his brothers were and my brother is an architect. I

think I'll take my 2.5 year old and let him fingerpaint ;)
