Guest guest
Were OK, high and somewhat drier. The area took a beating, one of the bridges over the Medina River on the way to Castroville got washed out. Use to take about 30 minutes to get over there, now it's going to take about 2 - 3 hours each way. San Antonio got flooded pretty good and all surrounding area's suffered. Mosquitoes are bigger then house flies, you can actually feel them landing on you before they even start biting, and lots of them. I don't know where they all came from, before the rain, it was drier then a dried up old bone. They were saying on the TV, this July will set a record for being the greenest in this area of S. Texas. I have not heard one person complain about the rain yet. But there were a lot of people that lost everything they owned.
