Guest guest
Two doctors have told me that when you are having a spell they can't figure out, they call it a panic attack. This happened to me. Suddenly out of the blue my blood pressure and pulse rate would shoot up, my heart would go arrythmic, and of course then I'd become quite anxious. I just didn't buy it that at 57 Iwas suddenly having panic attacks, so I kept at it and figured it out myself. The spells I was having began after I started taking thyroid hormone, so I figured it had something to do with that. It did, too. I am VERY sensitive to everythhing, especially things I take into my body. Taking one dose a day of the thyroid med. was just too much for me. I figured I needed some kind of time release, but they don't make it, so I smashed up the tablets and tried taking a quarter at a time. Better. No blood pressure rise, less dramatic pulse rate rise. Then 1/8 at a time. Better yet. Then 1/16th tablet at a time. Bingo. No more " panic attacks " at all. I suspect that there are manhy many people labeled as having panic attacks who have an absolutely physiological something going on that their dr. just doesn't see. And " the doctor " is not inclined to look for a cause, either. This is what really gets me. Their mindset is to just throw a drug at it. In my case, beta blockers. Telling me there are no side effects. I have THE PILL BOOK, and there are plenty of side effects. (You call death a side effect?) Anyway, it was one pill to give me spells, and another to stop them. No thanks. I was in wretchedshsape by the time I figuredit out, because thedoctorshad also run me through all kinds of tests some of which really knocked my oversensitive body for a loop. Fortunately I ran into a classical homeopath (not ordinary homeopathy. There is a BIG diffdrence.)and with his help I am recovering. Part of my goal is to get they thyroidback ito such good function Ican ditch the med altogether. My homeopath hashelped other folks do that, so is sure I can, too. Anyway, one point I want to make here is that looking for an EO that will address symptoms is not going to help at the level of actual CAUSE. If we want to be truly well over the long haul we need to listen to what our body is telling us by manifesting the symptoms that it is. Just doing something to quell the symptoms is not going to help. If we ignore that little red light on the dashboard,we may ruin the engine.
